Handy becomes sole UK and Eire agent for RAM Elettronica S.p.A foam cutting machinery

We are delighted to have been appointed sole UK/Eire agents for RAM Elettronica S.p.A. RAM produce a range of fully computerised foam cutting machinery. Standard horizontal and vertical blade (or abrasive wire) cutting as well as endless band-knife (for contour cutting) machines are available.
Handy has been successfully supplying the Swiss produced Simalfa range of water-based adhesives to the foam conversion industries for the past 20 years. After visiting the RAM headquarters to see the machines, it made great sense to offer a foam cutting solution alongside this.
RAM’s foam cutting machines are ideal for many industries including bedding, upholstery, office chairs, car seats, and many more. Mattresses, children’s soft play areas, cleaning products, etc all require foam in different shapes and sizes, and this is the solution.
In addition to foam, RAM’s cutting expertise extends to multi-ply spreading and cutting of textiles, artificial leather, nonwoven fabrics, resinated substrates, dacron, glass wool, kevlar etc. Perfect for a myriad of industries.
The computerised systems can be programmed to cut a large variety of foams and fabrics and the machines also ensure that they utilise the foam and fabric to minimise wastage.
Based near Bologna, RAM specialise in creating bespoke solutions for their customer’s specific manufacturing needs.
