VL40/AS40 bottom die for ventilator attaching when using rear washer. A rear washer is often necessary when piecing thicker fabric combinations. This die has a sprung loaded outer wall which ensures there is no movement of the washer during the attaching process.

The outer wall retracts in operation and guarantees no movement of the washer.
